Who brings what ​

Under Who brings what, the plan lists everything that is needed. Each item is either taken by someone or still up for grabs.

Take an item ​

Choose I'll bring it next to an item that is up for grabs. Your name replaces the button.

You need to have answered first, so Duplan knows who you are. Until then the button is greyed out.

If two people choose the same item at the same moment, the first one gets it and the other sees "Too late, someone already took it".

Give an item up ​

Changed your mind? Choose Give it up next to an item you took. It goes back to up for grabs.

Add an item ​

Choose Add an item, then fill in:

  • What? The thing to bring.
  • Quantity, if it helps: "6 bottles", "3 kinds".
  • Who brings it? Leave it to Nobody so anyone can take it, or choose Me to take it straight away. Me appears once you have answered.

Anyone with the link can add items.

Remove an item ​

The bin icon next to an item removes it. You see it on the items you added. The host sees it on every item.

If you are the host ​

As the host you can also decide who brings what:

  • When you add an item, Someone… lets you give it to a person on the list.
  • Under each item, a menu lets you give it to someone else or put it back up for grabs.

Max can also suggest how to hand out what nobody has taken.
